It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

Over the weekend I put up the Christmas Tree and decorations, I couldn't quite wait until 1 December and put them up on Saturday just 1 day early .... which was just as well because I had the worlds worst hangover on Sunday and all I managed to do all day was go from the bed to the couch! I'm never drinking again ... well at least not until this weekend!

I now present to you the Christmas decor in the Jarrah Jungle home this year ...

The tree is in the Living Room again, it really is the best spot for it and just fits between the couch and the front door so long as Santa doesn't try pushing past in his big fat red suit it shouldn't get knocked over!

I've kept the colours the same as last year pink, purple, blue and silver and trying to cull back on my ornament purchasing this year.

I'm saving some of the silver and all the red decorations for outside to decorate the patio with my red, white, silver theme for Christmas Day lunch. I need to buy some more decor for outside, including fairy lights to make it look festive.

My attempt at decorating with some tinsel outside only lasted about 5 seconds because as soon as I went inside Lexi turned it into her new chew toy! Will have to hang any decorations up high and out of my backyard destroyers way, and probably a bit closer to Christmas Day is the safest way to go.

2011 - Christmas tree blue and silver

  2. Those are pretty colors! I always try to change my ribbon up every year or I put it on the tree differently. I agree, I need to stop buying ornaments...I have a lot I can't put on the tree each year, because I have too many! I always put my favorites on, of course!
