I can't believe we are in April already and the Easter break is here, this year is moving way too fast don't you think!
For us the four day break means a leisurely few days of sleep ins, catching up on Foxtel series we've been recording but haven't had a chance to watch (The Walking Dead, Game Of Thrones, Orange Is The New Black, Selling Houses Australia to name a few!), exchanging chocolate eggs with friends and family and of course ticking off some projects on the to do list around the house.
After a 3 month wait the subdivision was approved last week (yipee yiy yay!!!) so our current goal is to get our block ready for the subdivision - clear the patio and empty out the Granny Flat so it's ready to be dismantled and removed from the backyard.
We have a crane/truck driver at the ready to take the Granny Flat away for us so it won't cost us any money as they will sell the Granny Flat and make some money from it. That's what you call a win/win situation for the both of us!

Now that the garage floor is painted, this week we picked up some heavy duty shelving units, which will be set up in the Garage and then we can start moving everything out of the Granny Flat and into the Garage.
Whatever doesn't fit in the Garage we'll sell or give away. There is some furniture I want to keep that won't fit in the house so that will need to go into storage.
So that's our plans so far for the Easter break ..... a bit of work and a bit of play how every staycation at home should be!
